Three years ago (November 4th 2010//Almost four years ago) I had been introduced to deviantART by two old friends of mine,
who both had inspired me BIG TIME to create an account and start drawing under the user name as 3xXDeviXx3.
I wasn't very artistic back then yet everything amazed me, especially the wonderful talent of my old friends. I never thought I'd be able to match up with their creative doodles and knowledge with using the website. Therefore I didn't really do much on here for a while. I did in fact go through a Sonic OC phase which eventually died down when I realized I just wasn't much into it as everyone else.
After long inactivity without any art updates to offer, I started getting into reading manga and trying to match my art style up with the anime characters. It wasn't good but it wasn't that bad either. I soon got around to fixing my digital camera and tossing up Lucky Star doodles- In which, I no longer own...
Another big inspiration of mine came from
who basically introduced me to 'furries' and soon enough helped me create my own fursona which I think I called Ellie/Elleah. (I can't exactly remember, it was long ago.) Using Ellie I was able to create my first digital art drawing which had been something celebrating the holiday of Thanksgiving. (I guess I needed a good excuse back then.) I was really proud of that! (Too bad I got rid of it.) It didn't last long though and I soon lost my motivation to continue drawing much at all.
A later time came around where the people around me had began to post art and journals about a show called Hetalia. I figured it looked decent enough to attempt watching and got right on it, spending a few nights on Netflix and constantly watching episode by episode until I was able to understand the whole thing. I've never really enjoyed anything as much as I did that show, which also lead me to watching more and more different anime's- and soon resparked my inspiration for drawing.
Over that time, I met new friends like
who I had started developing the habit of writing/role playing with online as a group. I also began watching more artists over deviantART who's artwork improved my own with small tips and tutorials. While in my personal life, things weren't going very well, my new friends were able to help me make the best of it- giving me probably the best couple of years I've ever had.
To this day, I'm updating handfuls of my art and still enjoying the inspiration this site has given me~
The most I can say for that is..Thank you, deviantART~ Thank you for giving me the best experience.
Happy 14th Birthday!!
